Terms of Use

Last updated: 21 October 2026

These terms apply to Mac PowerTools ("the app"), published by Webpress, Vietnam ("we"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Licence

When you get the app from the Mac App Store, your licence is Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, together with these terms. Where the two conflict, Apple's agreement prevails.

2. Free features and Mac PowerTools Pro

3. Your responsibilities

4. Third-party AI providers

If you connect an AI provider such as Anthropic, OpenAI or OpenRouter, you do so with your own account and API key. That provider's terms and privacy policy govern your use, and you pay its charges. Text you translate with it is sent from your Mac directly to the provider; see the Privacy Policy. We are not a party to your relationship with the provider and are not responsible for its service.

5. Accuracy

Translation and text recognition are automated and can be wrong or incomplete. Check important results before you rely on them, especially for medical, legal, financial or safety matters.

6. Apple services

The app relies on macOS features such as Apple's on-device Translation, Apple Intelligence and the Vision framework. Their availability, languages and quality are set by Apple and may change.

7. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

9. Changes and ending

We may update the app and these terms. The current terms are always on this page. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. Your licence ends automatically if you breach these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in the country where you live.
