Paste Previous
Copied something new but need what you copied before? Press ⌃⌘V to paste the item before your current clipboard. The pasted item becomes your clipboard, so pressing it again pastes the other one back. Swap between your last two copies without opening anything.
Translate anything you select
Select text in any app and press ⌥⇧⌘T. Or translate any item in your clipboard history. Pick the engine that fits.

Questions
Why does Mac PowerTools ask for Accessibility access?
So it can paste the item you pick straight into the app you are using, and read the text you selected when you press the Translate or Grab shortcut. It only acts when you trigger it. Without it, items are copied and you press ⌘V yourself. How to turn it on.
Do I need an account or an API key?
No. Translation works out of the box with Apple's on-device engine. An AI provider is optional.
Where is my clipboard history stored?
Only on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded, and we run no servers for the app.
Does it save passwords I copy?
No. Items that password managers mark as concealed are skipped. You can also exclude any app in Settings.
Is Pro a subscription?
No. It is a single purchase that unlocks Image Tools and future Pro tools. Restore it on another Mac from Settings › Pro.
What do I need?
macOS 14 Sonoma or later. Apple's Translation engine needs macOS 15 or later; Apple Intelligence needs macOS 26 on a supported Mac.
